Houston Open Experience

We had a great week of festivities planned, including a welcome golf outing to start the week, ultimate hospitality at one of the PGA Tour's premier events, unlimited golf at Escalante-owned Houston-area golf clubs, and a myriad of other activities and perks, including some new "twists" throughout the week. Members enjoyed an opening round at Shadow Hawk Golf Club, one of Houston's premier golf experiences. Thursday through Saturday, attendees had the options of enjoying the Tour action from the comfort of a luxury villa on the 18th green at Golf Club of Houston and/or playing golf at any of the other Escalante clubs in the city. Thursday night, we were able to take members out on the course with our Director of Agronomy for post-round testing and analysis with Tour officials, learning how to stimp green speeds, record moisture readings, and test green firmness. A few putts may have also been rolled on the 14+ greens as well! Friday night, Icon members Rusty and Jennifer Woolley hosted an Icon private dinner at their home, located just steps from the clubhouse. Lastly, there was an optional two-man tournament on the Tournament Course the Monday after play for those interested!
