Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo Open, officiated by Prince Rainier Il of Monaco and Princess Grace. This annual golf turnament played from 1984 to 1992, gained international popularity as many celebrities from the U.S. and Europe attended. In this spirit, the Monaco U.S. Celebrity Golf Cup was created. This is a private invitation only event where American Celebrities challenge European Celebrities to win the Monaco U.S. Celebrity Cup and to promote the Ryder Cup France 2018. The Monaco U.S. Celebrity Golf Cup is unique as it is the only Ryder Cup Match event that non-PGA professionals can compete in a team format representing USA or Europe, in the Princpality of Monaco. Icon Golf was fortunate to acquire 12 of the 24 amateur American playing spots and got to enjoy seven days in Monte Carlo with 12 US celebrities, including John Elway, Brian Baumgardner, Josh Scobee, Jay Feeley, Brett Hull, Kenny G, Joe Theisman, Patrick Peterson, Larry Fitzgerald, Jerry King and more. The extravagant event included parties on yachts in the Harbor of Monte Carlo, black-tie gala at The Monte Carlo Yacht Club, dinner with Prince Albert, multiple rounds of golf and sightseeing, a private night at the Monte Carlo Casino and so much more!
